To Qualify: You must participate in five out of the nine CARA Rodeos. It does not matter if you buck off or don't make a catch but you must have paid entry fees. This will be recorded by the Rodeo Secretary of each Rodeo and then forward on to the CARA Secretary for verification, we will be verifying which Rodeos each contestant has attended to make sure Finals entries qualify. The Format: A three performance Rodeo Senior Events: Open to every member, in good standing, who has met the necessary qualifying requirements. Double Points on Friday, which then become added to your season points, season leader will then be determined after Saturdays Top Ten Run. The Top Ten leaders after Friday will run in the first Saturday performance, plus any ties that have incurred. We will place to sixth. The Top Four from each event will run in the short go plus any ties. Junior Events: Open to every member, in good standing, who has met the necessary qualifying requirements. Double points on Friday which then become added to your season points, season leader will then be determined after Saturdays Top Six Run. The Top Six will run in the first performance on Saturday plus any ties that have incurred. We will place to sixth. The Top Three from each event will run in the short go, plus any ties. Please note: it was decided that Wild Cow Milking will not be an event at the Finals. Finals Entry Fees: Senior Events: Friday $75.00, Saturday $75.00 (includes Top 10 & Short Go) Junior Events: Friday $50.00, Saturday $50.00 (includes Top 6 & Short Go) We will also host a Calcutta for teams on the Friday night, more information to follow on this. There will be a Beer Gardens on Friday night and an Awards Evening on Saturday Night, this will include a band and dance after the presentations are finished, this is for members and their guests only. CARA Membership card covers entry into this event for the member only. There will still be Season Winner Awards. |
