Rio Grande Rodeo - Directions to Rio Grande
Directions are obtainable by googling but they have to Google from their location to Elmworth Alberta. When they arrive in Elmworth which is a hamlet with a school and small store they continue on west 5km to the end of the pavement and turn right and go north 2.5km to the grounds on their left hand side.
I assume most people know where Grande Prairie is and once they arrive at GP they continue west on Hwy 43 to Beaverlodge and turn left onto Secondary Hwy 722 and follow 722 southwest of Beaverlodge through Elmworth to the end of the pavement and turn right go north 2.5km to the grounds.
There will be directional signs on each corner from Beaverlodge that arrow them in the right direction. Feel free to publish my cell 780-876-4222 and we’ll make sure each one of them that get lost are recovered!
July 1 & 2 1:00pm both days, Slack will run 10:00am both days if necessary.
Entry Date June 22 & 23 This is two seperate rodeos and you are eligible to enter on both days and will qualify for points on both those days. There will be a third Rodeo more information to follow, this third day will not be a points day!!
Location: Rio Grande Sports Grounds - 22 miles SW of Beaverlodge on Secondary Highway 722.Camping Area, Stock Water, Food Booths
Admission - $12.00 per day or $22.00 for 2 day pass.
