Rescue 100 Foundation
A herd of 100 horses was seized by the ASPCA from a
northern Alberta ranch in February 2008. Several dead animals
including 27 horses were found at the site of the seizure. The
Rescue 100 Foundation was formed in a matter of days when this story hit
the news. A group of local horse enthusiasts came together for a
massive rescue operation. Rather than allowing the animals to go to
auction, a local farm owner offered her property to foster the horses
until they could be rehabilitated. Once the animals are healthy
enough, they will be placed into approved homes. The Rescue 100
Foundation will not profit from these efforts. Donations are
desperately required to help these horses on their journey to a full
recovery.
Rescue 100 Foundation is a registered society.
PLEASE VISIT THEIR SITE AND SEE IF YOU CAN HELP!! www.rescue100.com
The folllowing event is donating all proceeds to Rescue 100.
